There are dozens of fabulous food and wine experiences to be had at this year's Barossa Vintage Festival from 23-27 April 2025. Here's just some of what's on offer.

Penfolds Wines: A Taste of the Barossa
Enjoy a curated flight of Penfolds wines from the Barossa Valley region, featuring Bin 21 Grenache 2023, Bin 138 Shiraz Grenache Mataro 2020, Bin 150 Marananga Shiraz 2018, and RWT Bin 798 Shiraz 2020. The experience concludes with an open-barrel tasting of Penfolds Grandfather Rare Tawny, complemented by a custom-churned Tawny-flavoured ice cream from Barossa Ice Cream. $45.

Linger Longer … & Be Spoilt Like a Barossan
Relax with friends on antique lounge suites and enjoy regional platters featuring local produce at Z WINE. Free.

Celebrate the elegance of Grenache at Turkey Flat Vineyards with a three-course menu paired with fine wine selections, including a rare vertical tasting of Grenache wines. $150.

Experience the best of North Barossa in one place at The Stockwell Hotel. This event features over 40 wines from 8 renowned wineries, offering a diverse tasting experience. It's an excellent opportunity to explore the unique flavors and craftsmanship of the region. $40.

Discover Zinfandel and Shiraz at Bethany
Explore Barritt Vineyards' Zinfandel and Shiraz offerings. Take a guided walk through the vineyard, observe the winemaking process, and participate in barrel tastings and blending sessions. The event also features artworks by South Australian artist Richard John. Children are welcome. $40.

En Primeur with Michael Hall Wines
Experience a unique opportunity to taste the 2025 Barossa Valley Shiraz and Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir directly from the barrel. Engage in discussions about the vintage and the influence of barrel aging with winemaker Michael Hall. $40.

The Grapevine Journey at Lambert Estate
Experience the Barossa Valley with a premium tasting of Lambert Estate's handcrafted wines. This event includes a guided e-cart tour through the vineyards and kitchen gardens, highlighting the estate's commitment to sustainability and estate-grown produce. Grenache from the Ground Up
Delve into the rich history of Grenache in the Barossa Valley, from its extensive planting in the 1840s to its near disappearance during the vine pulls of the 1980s at Rockford Wines. This event celebrates the resilience of Grenache vines and their significance in the region's winemaking heritage. Guests will enjoy a roaming five-course tasting menu crafted by Rockford’s chefs, featuring produce from their garden. Each course is thoughtfully paired with different expressions of Grenache, highlighting both traditional and contemporary styles. $180.

Celebrate the release of Kaesler's Icon range, including the renowned Old Bastard Shiraz. Enjoy a dynamic performance by Michelle Pearson, accompanied by a live band playing jazz, rock, and pop.
