Remember 2020 and 2021 when we were locked down during Covid-19 for months on end, with short respites where we could leave our homes?

As a Melbourne resident, it was pretty extreme. It was during one such break that we took a chance to explore the nearby Mornington Peninsula wineries which had been desperately waiting for regional tourism to reignite with the loss of overseas and interstate visitors.

If you love picking up a tea towel to remind you of your travels, you'll understand how we had a brainwave to create these as fun souvenirs.

Deciding to self-fund and create an Australiana souvenir, we have designed a series of beautifully detailed, watercolour-illustrated tea towels depicting the famous wine regions of Adelaide Hills, Barossa, Canberra District, Clare Valley, Coonawarra, Geelong & the Bellarine Peninsula, Hunter Valley, Margaret River, McLaren Vale, Mornington Peninsula, Mudgee, Orange, Rutherglen, Tamar Valley and Yarra Valley, illustrated by Ballarat artist Caroline Keys.

Each of the tea towels feature up to 45 or more local wineries, hotels and attractions on a gorgeously illustrated map. 

We also have a small range of matching bar aprons of the Adelaide Hills, Barossa, Clare Valley, McLaren Valley and Mornington Peninsula.

The featured wineries are vineyards rated four stars or more by James Halliday's Wine Companion with cellar doors open to the public, the accommodation properties vary in style from modest motels to five-star hotel resorts so visitors stay longer in the area, while the variety of local attractions helps widen the region's appeal to a broader range of people.
